Greg is a native of Michigan where he grew up in a Christian home and attended Spring Arbor College. In 1990 he and his wife, Laura, moved to the North Shore to pursue graduate studies. While Greg was completing a Masters and Ph.D. in Philosophical Theology at Boston College, Laura worked in residence life at Gordon College and earned an MA in Counseling from Gordon Conwell. Greg spent 12 years as Dean of Chapel at Gordon College where he also founded the Christian Vocation Institute. One of Greg’s greatest joys is helping others gain new insights about God and deepen their faith. He communicates the truths of Christ in a way that helps others grow closer to God and experience greater freedom. Together, Greg and Laura direct the New England Institute for Faith, Life & Work helping others make vital connections between the Gospel of Jesus and their daily lives.
Greg and Laura have three grown sons – Nick, Josh and Eli – and live in Beverly where they can be frequently spotted sipping coffee in one of the local cafés, walking near Dane St. Beach or watching sunsets at Independence Park.
Greg has been worshiping and serving as Pastor at Church in the Cove since January 2017.
